What the website stores on your device

infera-language (local storage) remembers whether you prefer English or Arabic.

infera-compare (local storage) remembers up to three products you chose to compare. It contains product names only, never your name or contact details.

Project assistant brief (session storage) carries the answers from the project assistant to the enquiry form and is deleted when you close the browser tab.

infera-assistant and infera-ai-status (session storage) keep your current conversation with the website assistant and whether the assistant is available, until you close the browser tab.

__Host-infera_session (cookie) keeps you signed in after you sign in to your account. It holds a random identifier, is sent only over HTTPS to inferaengine.com, cannot be read by page scripts and expires when you sign out, or after 30 days (12 hours for team accounts).

infera_signed_in (cookie) lets the pages show your account link instead of “Sign in”. It contains only the value 1 and expires with your session.

The local and session storage items stay in your browser; the assistant conversation is sent to us only together with each question you ask. The two sign-in cookies are set only when you sign in. All of these are used only to provide features you ask for, so they are strictly necessary and do not need your consent under UK privacy rules (PECR) or the equivalent EU ePrivacy rules.

Hosting

If our hosting infrastructure sets a strictly necessary technical cookie, for example for security, it is used only to deliver the website.
